At Bomenweg 25 in Marknesse, Akkerbouwbedrijf Luimes vof has been in business for many years. Since 2023, there has been a safari tent on the farmyard, available as an overnight accommodation. The safari tent is fully equipped, all you have to do yourself is pack your bag with clothes, toiletry bag and your good mood.

Take a break from your busy life and enjoy the polders view, play a game together or read a good book in the hammock. The tent is fully equipped for 4 people, but any visitors are also welcome. Outside, you can enjoy a meal or relax at the large table. Important to know, and actually quite positive to take a break from everyday life: there is no wifi available in the tent.

You are staying on a farm for a reason: meet the animals. Duuk the dog likes to play, Jip the cat loves to be pampered. The goats and chickens in the meadow are very sociable and like to take a curious look at the fence.

Stroll around the plot and take a quiet walk to the back. Enjoy a game from the play box. The little ones can run wild on the lawn or chill out in the hammock. In the evening, enjoy the starry sky and tranquillity. You can regularly join the farmer for a spontaneous walk around the fields; they will be happy to explain everything about what happens on the farm.
