The Noordoostpolder is beautiful all year round, but nothing beats the colourful spectacle that our tulip fields offer in April and May. Tulips as far as the eye can see. In every colour imaginable. If this is not yet on your bucket list, then you should make up for it now! Come and discover the car and cycle routes that will take you along the blooming tulip fields, the Tulip Picking Garden, the Tulip Species Garden and the Tulip Experience Field from 18 April to 4 May 2025. Schokland is a must-see when you visit the Noordoostpolder. Be amazed by this former island. Did you know that 25 years ago, Schokland was awarded the status of World Heritage Site by UNESCO?
In the Waterloopbos woods you can see and discover the strong bond that the Netherlands have with water. The most amazing waterworks were designed and tested here previously. You can also admire Land-Art: Deltawerk//.
