Besides the many public nature reserves in the Northeast Polder, there are also several private gardens that are open to the public, where you can enjoy a different kind of natural beauty on selected dates or by appointment.
These private gardens, often part of a (former) farmyard, are cultivated with heart and soul by their owners and are full of beautiful trees, shrubs and plants. Come and visit them for a lovely day out or to get inspiration for your own garden. Some gardens also offer coffee and tea during your visit. At some locations, you can even pick out plants to take home, not to mention picking your own bouquet in a real picking garden.
