On Saturday 12 April, the centre of Emmeloord will once again be all about spring. The annual Van Bentem Sierteelt Groendag offers a variety of activities, including a cosy market, various children's activities and the well-known tulip picking garden.

On Saturday 12 April, the centre of Emmeloord will once again be all about spring. The annual Van Bentem Sierteelt Groendag offers a variety of activities, including a cosy market, various children's activities and the well-known tulip picking garden.
The Green Day activities take place between De Deel and Kettingplein. In the Lange Nering, you will find a wide range of ‘green-related’ market stalls (plant and bulb sales, gardening articles and deco). For beautiful spring plants, visit the adjacent plant market.
There will be plenty of entertainment for children; hit the gas on the pedal tractor track, get your face painted or cuddle the animals at the mobile petting zoo. Little ‘green fingers’ can join the mini-garden making workshop. First, you carpenter your own wooden planter, which you then fill with soil, cheerful plants, bark and stones. The most creative ones will win a prize!
Meanwhile, pick a beautiful bunch of tulips in the tulip garden and enjoy various delicacies at one of the food trucks or local restaurants. The Green Day; the most fun early spring outing in the Noordoostpolder!
